PLATAN, never far back, took command before going a half mile, established a good lead entering the stretch and increased the advantage when ridden out. ACE DESTROYER moved up boldly entering the stretch, could not get to the winner, but was easily best of the others. GULF STREAM lacked early speed, but finished well in the middle of the track. MOKATUCK saved ground to the stretch, but failed to rally when set down in the drive. PRINCE MARQUE raced forwardly placed to the last quarter mile, then gave way. GREATEST had early speed, but failed to stay. ALIE-ED was never prominent. MONEY BROKER disliked the muddy track and was far back the entire trip. KILDANGEN had early speed, but failed to keep up and was eased after being hopelessly beaten. Scratched— 858543 Mile. Lorette, 102; 85854 Guy, 107; 85175 Thaxter, 109. JET ACE gradually worked way forward, saved ground entering the stretch and assumed command, then drew clear when ridden out. CLICK-CLICK raced evenly for a half-mile and then finished willingly when set down through the stretch, but could not get to the top one. LIGHT MOON lacked early speed, but closed fairly well under brisk urging. BIDDY BID went to the front at once, set the pace for a half-mile under pressure from BOOTS IMAGE, but had nothing left for the drive. INDOLENCE failed to keep up after displaying early speed. PROPS, in hand while racing forwardly placed to the stretch, responded to strong handling during the drive and, disposing of TINTINA, held ISLE SEA safe. ISLE SEA raced well from the outset, closed willingly under urging, but could not withstand the winner. IRMAS JIM engaged TINTINA to the stretch, then faltered when challenged by PROPS during the drive. GYPSY GLOW could not get to the leaders when set down in the drive. COURT T. was outrun. RAPID MAIL was never dangerous. NEW ORLEANS showed nothing. GINNY WIN was far back the entire trip. TINTINA took command early, set the pace for three-quarters mile while racing with ISLE SEA, then quit. DIAMOND MORAN broke with the field, then pitched for a sixteenth mile and was pulled op.
