Valenzuela Undergoes Surgery CENTENNIAL RACE TRACK, Littleton, Colo., June 29. Jocky Ismiel Valenzuela, well known to Colorado race fans, underwent surgery this week at Centinala Hospital, Englewood, Calif. Valenzuelas leg, broken this season at Hollywood Park, showed signs of complications which might have resulted in permanent disability. A bone graft taken from Valenzuelas hip, plus a silver plate, figured in the operation which promises to have Ismiel back riding winners.
