Stewards Rulings AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Neb., June 29. The stewards Saturday issued the following rulings: "For creating a disturbance in the stable area, trainer Charlie Ahrend is suspended for the balance of this meeting and denied access to and the privileges of the grounds during his suspension. "Apprentice jockey Jerry Gallion is suspended for the balance of this meeting for rough riding while up on his mount, Fido, during the running of the eighth race on Friday, June 26, 1953. "Trainer L. O. Lane is fined 5 for harboring unlicensed personnel." CRANWOOD PARK, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, June 29. The Cran-wood Park stewards issued the following ruling here today: "Apprentice jockey James Mayer is fined the sum of 0 for failure to keep his mount, Queen o Stars, straight while leaving the starting gate in the seventh race Friday, June 26, 1953." FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, 111., June 29. The stewards here at Fairmount Park issued the following rulings, effective June 27, 1953: "The board of stewards at Fairmount Park race track this date, hereby suspend the following named jockeys for their conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and further denied all persons mentioned the privileges of all race tracks located in the state of Illinois, including the stable area and the grandstand area, and further refer their cases to the Illinois Racing Commission for any further action they deem necessary: "Jockeys Robert C. "Bobby" Bennett, Wally Humes, Leo "Lightning" Jones, Jr., D. A. Bates, John "Johnny" Phillips, Hector Sanabria, Leon Grandsart, and Richard J. Ury. "The board of stewards at Fairmount Park race track this day hereby suspend jockey agent Joseph Le Blanc for his conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing and he is further denied all the privileges of all race tracks located in the state of Illinois, including the stable area and the grandstand area, and further refer his case to the Illinois Racing Board for any further action they deem necessary." CRANWOOD PARK, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, June 29. The Cran-wood Park stewards issued the following ruling here today: "Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hadlock owner and trainer and all horses registered in their name are suspended for the remainder of the year 1953. "This suspension is for violation of Ohio State Racing Commission Rule No. 259. Having in their car and their possession a hypodermic syringe while in the parking area of the Cranwood receiving barn." DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 29. The board of stewards ruled: "For engaging in an altercation in the paddock after the fifth race, Saturday, June 27, jockeys William Zakoor and Howard Craig are fined 0 each." i
