Monmouth Figures Up MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 29. With attendance up 7.2 per cent over figures of a year ago, and wagers running at a brisk 10.5 increase, Monmouth Park this week swings into its true "season," with the Fourth of July week end expected to be one of the banner days of the session. The trend definitely is toward new records. Already 180,597 patrons have passed through the turnstiles for a daily average of 13,892, compared to 168,514 fans in 1952 and an average of 12,962. Pari-mutuel wagering has reached 4,686,407, yielding a daily mark of ,129,723. Over the corresponding span last summer, the total was 3,274,916 and an average of ,021,147.
