ENTHUSED worked his way up on the Inside, responded to energetic handling through the stretch and was along to outfinish FIRST SWING. The latter alternated in setting the pace, had something left when put to a drive and just missed. LUCKY DOG, eased out of close quarters early, moved with a rush on the extreme outside into the stretch, raced wide to reach the leaders and faltered. BASSINGTON weakened after forcing the pace to the stretch. COOKIE BABY had no mishap. HASHER rallied mildly. KING TAOS moved along the inside improving position early and flattened out when roused. HAL-FLEAM drew clear soon after the start and held sway throughout, while bearing out in the late stages. BAMALITA worked his way up on the outside, moved to engage the leader and was forced to the inside but was not good enough. KING SIGN was knocked back at the start, regained stride, worked his way up along the inside and closed willingly. GENIE BOY was impeded leaving the gate, recovered but was unable to threaten. MAKANI IKAIKA showed nothing. FIRST ONE was never prominent. COUNT BROSE swerved at the start causing a jam and was straightened out but failed to menace. TELBRAS weakened.
