GANYMEDE II. moved boldly on the stretch turn, assumed the lead in midstretch and was unable to withstand the winner. WHENCE came from far back, but was no threat to the top pair. TOSCA forced the early pace, gained the lead on the stretch turn and weakened. JAN PEECK failed to rally. SAMPAN could not menace at any stage. FARANEASY was outrun. MR. MIGHTY had early speed.
