Two Detroit Stakes Closing DETROIT, Mich., May 11. Entries for the 5,000 F. M. Alger Memorial Handicap and the 0,000 Boots and Saddles Handicap, stakes scheduled for decision at the forthcoming Detroit Race Course meet, will close Saturday, May 15. Three-year-olds and upward are eligible to the six-furlong Alger Memorial and also to the mile and one-sixteenth Boots and Saddles.
