Won driving; second and third the same. JACK FROST, within striking distance. but slow to respond, moved "from the extreme outside through the final furlong and wore down the leaders. TAX CUT and BALMARAN alternated in setting and pressing the pace, with the former gaining the nod after saving ground on the turn. MISTEMAR almost went down when crowded in the vicinity of the three-eighths pole, and made up considerable ground. PAT AGAIN lacked a late response. RABU failed to reach contention. JACKADANDY failed to menace the winner but outfinished JACK JAY. The latter had speed in spots. ALWAYS ARGUE lacked a rally after being within striking distance. LOVELY LOUISE was unable "to reach contention. NICK BLOOM showed nothing. APPEARANCE was sore and quit -SIGNOR SAM M. was in front for about six furlongs and quit. The latter improved his position from the outside and got on even terms in the final stride. HEUREUX was hard pressed while setting the pace and weakened slightly. RAYBAX was shuffled back badly along the inside, recovered well and closed with good energy. PROBLEM LAD was crowded during the drive. MISS REVOKED was through early. LADD was unable to stay wtih the winner after the early stages, but retained his position in the running. MIKE OHERRON was no match for the top pair, but held the others safe. DONNA BOORSE moved into the first flight soon after leaving the backstretch, engaged the leader fr.om the outside and gained a harrow victory following the extended drive. GRO-UP wrested command from the faltering NINA PAL after about five furlongs, held on gamely but was not good enough. JULDEES late rally failed to menace the top pair. LOVE LOCK weakened, as did TEDDYS LIGHT. NINA PAL stopped to a walk after having been in front. SO EASY was never a factor and came back sore. DUCHESS AUMAR guit.
