Tyron; bred by A. J. Rooney. IN GATE 5:251. OFF AT 5:25 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won driving; second and third the same. TINY HARP, a keen factor from the start, went to the front before going a half mile, settled in the stretch with a good lead but was hard ridden to withstand S00CRU. The latter, in close quarters enterihg the stretch, finished strongly when clear but was unable to reach the winner. ROYAL TULIP raced evenly for three-quarters mile, then closed fairly well under punishment. PRANDIUM gave a good effort and had no mishap. GRACIOUS HEART, forced back when caught in tight quarters after the start, raced wide thereafter. SHIFTY CLOWN had a rough trip. SIR TINT swerved to the inside after the break, crowding the field, raced with TINY HARP to the stretch, then gave way. PROPS could not keep up. TRIOGRAPH had early speed but failed to stay. KY. BEAUTY was never a serious contender and pulled up lame. Scratched 15832 Dare Devil, 115. Prandium claimed by Mrs. E. Kelley. Attendance, 8,000 Estimated; Total Mutuel Pool, 84,649.
