Cleveland Browns to Drop Court Case Against Kissell OTTAWA, Ont., May 13 UP. The Cleveland Browns of the National Football League planned today to drop their legal action against John Kissell, who left them last year to play football with the Ottawa Rough Riders. -The 250-pound tackle was recently reported to have signed with Cleveland again, for the coming season. The Browns were denied an injunction to keep the big lineman from playing in Canada last year. Legal machinery moved so slowly the case did not receive a hearing before he was back with the Cleveland team. The Browns filed notice that they! wanted to drop the court case yesterday.
