The Primrose Purse, a six-furlong allowance sprint for three-year-old fillies, is the top attraction on the Friday semi-final program of the current spring meeting here. The feature drew an overnight field of six quick performers, and the early choice is Valley Farms Vici Admiral, who gets in with 110 pounds. The apprentice allowance is claimed for the Valley View miss and Johnny Ralph Adams will guide her. Vici Admiral, a daughter of Ace Admiral and Veni Vici, was recently acquired by her new owners from the noted Cincinnati physician and thoroughbred breeder, Dr. R. C. Austin. Others expected to start in the Friday dash are R. and R. H. Moores Fighting Moore and Buddah Stables Ricoto. Permane to Ride Ricoto Jockey Bobby Permane, successful with three of his mounts on Wednesdays card, is engaged to handle Ricoto in the Primrose; Freddie Wirth rides Fighting Moore and Johnny Heckmann will be astride Rubes Folly. Kenneth Church is to be at the reins on Mary Ellen and Dave Erb will pilot Black Main, who worked smartly for her Primrose Purse, engagement. Emil Denemarks Silver K.,who will have the saddle services of Heckmann; Clifford Lusskys homebred Tuonine and Mrs. H. Allen Campbells A-Pacopep appear well-placed in the Bear Grass. Moment, a recent visitor to the local winners circle; H. R. Penney s Park-lea, Etta B. McAtees homebred Darkie and Valley View Farms Gerry Frank. The Liberty Purse should develop into quite a close tussle and P. Mclntyres Hug Up, with Brooks up, is the overnight choice for the event. Mrs. L. E. Vaniers Capt.
