May Drop Two Stakes HALLANDALE, Fla., May 13. Although it is much too early to make definite plans for the 1955 racing season at Gulfstream Park, president James Donn is considering dropping two stakes from the agenda at the coming meeting. These are the Orchid Stakes and the Florida Oaks, both fashioned for three-year-old fillies, and grudgingly supported by horsemen when they were introduced in March.
