Ben Hogan Feeling Better-To Play Round on Saturday FORT WORTH, Texas, June 1 UP. Ben Hogan, feeling "much better" after a virus attack, leaves Wednesday by plane for Springfield, N. J., where he will play a round Saturday National Golf Day for the countrys golfers to try and beat. Hogans wife reported he spent most of yesterday in bed, after the virus attack forced him to withdraw Saturday as defending champion at the end of the second-round play in the Colonial National Invitation tournament here. She said the little National Open champion was up and around today, but planned to take things easy in an effort to regain his strength.
