The feature event on Wednesdays nine-race program at Lincoln Fields, named for the nearby town of Kankakee, is a six-furlong dash for three-year-olds, and seven of that age were named through the entry box to start. They include Valley View Farms bay colt, Mon Mar, who was withdrawn from the Peabody Memorial Stakes Monday. The son of Rustom Sirdar Burgoo Miss is top weight of the field with 120 pounds, which will include jockey W. D. Carroll. Mon Mar did not start as a two-year-old last year, but was a quick winner when he came to the races this season. He made his first start on March 3 at Hialeah and finished unplaced behind Enzio. His next appearance occurred on. March 16 at Gulf-stream Park in a six-furlong maiden race. He won that one, beating Quiz Finder a head. Mon Mar came back to win his next start on March 20- by more than three lengths from Match Play. Later, at Churchill Downs he was beaten a neck in two races. In eight starts the son of Rustom Sirdar has shared in the purses on six occasions. He was bred in Kentucky by A. B. Gay and the well known Argentine trainer, Horatio Luro. Paris Fleet Fourth in Flossmoor Perhaps the most formidable foe Mon Mar will meet in the Kankakee will be the filly Paris Fleet, owned by J. G. Smith and trained by that veteran of the trotting tracks, E. C. Dbbson, who successfully transferred his allegiance to the runners some years ago. In her latest appearance Paris Fleet finished fourth to Blue Violin when that smart filly won the Flossmoor Purse here at Lincoln Fields last Thursday. Paris Fleet closed a big gap in that race and finished strongly.. The bay daughter of Count Fleet Helen of Paris has not reached the winners circle this year in eight starts, but she has been racing against some of the best fillies in the land her age. She was unplaced behind Jen jay and Queen Hopeful in. te Ashland Stakes at Keeneland and Fascinator and Queen Hopeful in the Kentucky Oaks. In her next start, which preceded her appearance at Lincoln Fields, she was sent against another band of top-flight fillies and showed a good effort, although beaten by Fulvous, Lillal arid Night-Phara. Paris Fleet carries 112 pounds in the Kankakee and will have Irvin Guiney as her; rider. Rounding out the field for the Kankakee will be W. H. Bishops Lovin Lady, 109 L. Wickel; J.
