POPS PAL was saved back of MON BAISER until the latter began to weaken, then easily took over to pull out in the stretch and was Well in hand nearing the finish. DOWN YONDER made a fair run after entering the stretch, but did not threaten the leader, although having no trouble to hold FINE FETTLE. The latter was in rather tight quarters rounding the first turn, then dropped back and, although going wide in the stretch, finished fairly-well. ALHAMPERED, a trailer early, seemed to be going strongest of all at the end. WRAGGLE-TAGGLE weakened after making a "move nearing the stretch turn. MON BAISER stopned badly. MAY LEE H. was off badly and was a trailer for the first quarter, then improved her position to come to the middle of the track in the stretch, and taking command in the final sixteenth, won as her jockey pleased. NEAL ELYSE got to the front of SUNSET STAR after going a quarter, but weakened in the last furlong. SKY JEEP finished fairly well in the middle of the track. GRAND PAPPY, off well, was close to the pace from the start, then asserted his superiority in easily passing the leaders to draw out and win in hand. WHYLAW dropped back a trifle soon after the start, then came well on the outside through the stretch. BLUE RENO raced rather wide but finished well. WAR MINT was also going gamely at the end after having been fairly close up early. NOT BAD tired after having taken a short lead between calls after entering the stretch. MAD HARHAM had speed for a half mile, then weakened. ARBITRATE had some early foot. FAITHLINER tired in the last eighth. BOGS PRIDE, close up early, dropped back slightly nearing the stretch turn, then came strongly in the last eighth on the inside to find an opening and come through to win going away under hard urging. BLUE LAMAR followed FAIRN SQUARE closely while the latter was making the pace and went evenly to the finish. BASHFUL SUN gained after entering the stretch and also raced well to the finish. FAIRN SQUARE set the pace while racing well out from the rail, but weakened in the final drive. PRETTY CINDY had some early speed. The others were outpaced. Scratched 120812 Bill Boy, 111. SPARTAN JETT went evenly in the early stages although being outrun, then came very fast in the last eighth to get to the front near the end and win going away under hard urging. SAINT SARAZEN went to the front early and drew into a long lead nearing the stretch turn, but drifted out in the run home and, tiring, just lasted to save second place. DAX was closest to SAINT SARAZEN most of the way and just failed to catch him. JAKIE was badly outrun all the way. PEACE ADMIRAL was fractious prior to the start. LOCAL CORNER was off poorly. SEAWARD went to the front early to open up a good lead entering the backstretch and, well rated, was never in danger of being headed and was fairly well in hand at the end. LION saved ground throughout and went in steady fashion to the finish to best the others. DANCE NSING was closest to SEAWARD in the early stages but lacked the necessary power. GATLIGHT was sent into a good lead after rounding the first turn and, widening on her field nearing the far turn, raced along easily far in advance of the others to the end. SPRINGBUCK moved as if to become dangerous on the backstretch, then seemed to falter, but came again fairly well in the stretch. PENROSE was used up trying to get to the winner and had little left. TULSA went to the front at once and, showing a liking for the going, drew away on the backstretch, theji appeared to be given a breather after rounding the stretch turn and further indreased his advantage in the last eighth. DIXIE SPY made a good run around the stretch turn and looked a threat, but was unable to seriously menace the winner. APASAY was fairly well up to the stretch, then began to weaken. THIRD LAD closed considerable ground in he late stages. QUEENS REGRET had early speed. GLADFOOTE was off poorly. Overweight Third Lady, 2 pounds; Queens Regret, 1; Gladfoote, 2.
