Delaware Stakes Candidates DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 1. Cain Hoy Stables Cherokee Rose and Greentree Stables Straight Face, "winners in two important stakes at. Belmont over the holiday week end, are eligible for future stakes at Delaware Park. Cherokee Rose, a sister to How, a stakes winner of several seasons ago, is a candidate for the Delaware Oaks and New Castle Handicap. The three -year-old daughter of Princequillo and The Squaw II., accounted for the Coaching Club American Oaks on Saturday for the first stakes triumph of her career. Straight Face has ably taken up the void created by the retirement of Greentree Stables Tom Fool and is rated as Native Dancers principal rival among the handicap horses. The Count Fleet gelding is nominated for the 5,000-added Sussex Handicap on July 4.
