Thelma Sneed Consignment On Sale at Pomona June 21 POMONA, Calif., June 1. More than 75 Thoroughbreds, including horses-in-training, breeding stock and yearlings, will be sold at the Los Angeles County Fair Grounds on Monday, June 21, in a mixed sale presented by Fasig-Tipton Co. and sponsored by the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association. Heading the line-up of horses to be auctioned to the highest bidders is a 15-head lot from Mrs. Thelma Sneed, for many years one of Californias best known breeders and owners of racing stock. Other consignors will include the Alberta Ranches, Ltd., Owl Stable, Andrew J. Crevolin, Elo-bee Farm and the Edenvale Farm of Mrs. John Payson Adams. Mrs. Sneed will sell six broodmares, including the good producers Sweet Arline, Glory Time, Elissa B. and Reigh Fancie. Also included will be Fair Hazard, dam of the speedy Fair Regards. The latter mare, now carrying her first foal, also will be auctioned. Race horses in this consignment will consist of the good winners Impudent Lady, Valiant Ace and My Vengeance, as well as the 2-year-old With Regards colt, Cheval, and the 3-year-old, Subversion. This latter colt, by With Regards Elissa B., has never started but is currently in training. The stallion Ikes Glory, stakes-winner of 17 races and now a sire, will be sold by Mrs. Sneed as will a trio of yearling colts. These will include a son of With Regards Elissa B.; a son of With Regards Sweet Arline, and a son of Ikes Glory Testaceous.
