Set Lower Admission Prices For All-Star Baseball Game CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 2 UP. Baseballs executive council today set the ticket prices for the twenty-first annual All-Star game to be played at Clevelands Municipal Stadium, July 13, and decided on four alternate starting times should weather interfere with the scheduled start of 1:30 p. m. EDT. Because of the "reduction in the Federal admission tax, prices for seats will average -about a dollar lower than last year, when the game was flayed in Cincinnati. Box seats will be each, reserved seats , standing room tickets and bleacher seats . Should -Weather interfere with the scheduled starting time, these alternate times were set 8 p. m., July 13 and li a. m., 2 p. m. and 8 p. m., July 14. Stadium lights will be turned on if necessary. The Cleveland Indians will handle the ticket sales. Orders will not be taken before Sunday, June 6, and each applicant will be limited to two tickets. Cleveland officials predicted a new All-Star attendance record. The present record is 69,812? set here for the third All-Star game played in 1933. The city-owned park record attendance is 86,288, set October 10, 1947, for a World Series game between the Indians and Boston Braves. Because Cleveland is host, the American League players will wear home uniforms and bat last with the American League baseball used. Attending todays meeting were commissioner Ford Frick, National League president Warren Giles, American League president William Harridge,v Walter OMal-ley of the Brooklyn Dodgers, and Tom Yawkey of the Boston Red Sox.
