NARAJO steadily worked way forward to the tretch, was sent to the middle of the track for the drive and, after disposing of MISS JAY JAY, drew clear hen ridden out. The latter, never far back, settled in the stretch with a short lead, but could not withstand he top one, although easily best of the others. PIGEON PIE took an early lead, set the pace to the stretch, hen weakened. BLACK BILLINGS, next to the inner rail and in the deepest going, stumbled near the three-ighths mile marker and failed to recover. ORCHID was never dangerous. DICKS MON raced greenly. OUR SNICK made a mild bid nearing the stretch, then weakened. LOCADAH had early speed, but failed to stay. JOE PAGLINA began slowly, disliked the slow track and, racing wide, could not keep up. COLETOWN MAID, in hand to the last three-eighths mile, was taken out slightly entering the stretch, closed strongly under punishment and, disposing of GOLDSBORO, held the others safe. MASON COUNTY, far back to the stretch, finished strongly, but could not get to the winner. FERTILE LANDS saved ground throughout, made a good bid in the early stretch, but faltered when nearing the finish. GOLDSBORO went to the front early, established a long lead between calls and made the pace to the stretch, then gave way. SQUARE DANCER disliked the slow track. PHAELATER could not keep up after displaying early speed. JANE FORST had early speed, but failed to stay. BLUE HILLS began fast, raced forwardly placed for the entire trip and had no mishap. SPERANZO failed to rajly when set down through the stretch. ALACASSULA disliked the slow going and raced wide during the final guarter of a mile. MARK ONIGHT lacked early speed and was never a dangerous contender. THE GLOBE raced wide.
