Connaught Park Racing To Start on June 19 TORONTO, Ont., June 2. Connaught Park Jockey Club announced today that plans for running thoroughbred racing at the Ottawa course were fully approved and the 14-day meeting would open on Saturday, June 19. T. P. Gorman, president of the Jockey club, made .the announcement from his offices at the auditorium in Canadas capital city. Twilight racing will prevail on week days arid a 3 p. m. post time will be in effect on Saturday and holiday meetings. Gorman expects the vanning of horses from Quebec and Ontario stabling centers to begin almost immediately, with this group joining those already at Connaught Park. Other shipments are expected from points in the United States, to bring the stable complement to full strength.
