BIDANDMADE went to the front at once and, shaking off SLY WINK nearing the stretch turn, drew out as she pleased in the run home. CHANCE CLOUD improved his position gradually in the stretch and easily bested HASTY HANK. The latter moved up slightly after entering the stretch, but tired near the finish. BRECON BEACONS finished fairly well. MR. BEEKEE had some early speed. ALMA B. was never a contender. SLY WINK raced very wide on the stretch turn- and tired badly thereafter. RIOT was not too far removed in the early running and improved his position gradually in the stretch to find an opening, take command and win going away under ordinary urging. ROAMING OSCAR set the early pace, continued well after being headed by MADAM CROSS nearing the stretch turn and again went to the front in the stretch, but was not good enough. BIG QUESTION moved well through the stretch to best the others. MIGHTY NICE failed to figure seriously. DARK DESERT had early speed. MADAM CROSS tired badly in the stretch. PRYNESS gained on DESTINO MISS after entering Jhe stretch and, heading her less than a furlong out, drew away steadily thereafter to be a handy winner. The latter had the speed to head the field around the far turn, then pulled out nearing the stretch turn, but was unable to cope with the winner, although easily best of the rest. TOURAINE, While seemingly outmatched by the first two in the going, showed a steady effort. INREPOSE was racing fairly well at the finish. RESURRECT was never dangerous. FLYING BETTY tired. WHIRL AWHILE was close up while racing on the inside in the first half mile, was then taken to the outside of RE-SHUFFLE in the stretch, and heading him an eighth out was not in danger coming to the finish. STRONGPLAY was outpaced the first part and closed gamely in the stretch while racing in the middle of the track. RE-SHUFFLE had the most early speed and saved ground but tired. DOUBLE BARREL was never dangerous. STILTON was off slowly. RED SPEED was close up to the stretch turn and then began to tire. , Overweight Red Speed, 1 pound. Red Speed claimed by Jacnot Stable. DEEP WONDER went to the front at once and took a fair lead nearing the far turn, was then headed by VICI ADMIRAL nearing the stretch turn, but continued to match strides with the latter all through the stretch while racing on the outside and bested him narrowly in the final drive. VICI ADMIRAL was always a strong contender and. went gamely throughout to be beaten but narrowly. BABYS PAL was close enough early, but dropped back after leaving the backstretch and was never again a serious factor. BLACK WIDOW and TENACIOUS ACE finished evenly. GREATER stopped badly. NUMERICAL was rated within striking distance of the leaders until given free rein in the stretch, then easily caught and passed PIELETTAWAY to draw out and score by a wide margin. PARIS FLEET was outrun to the stretch turn, then came strongly in the middle of the track. PIELETTAWAY moved to catch DICKS FUTURE nearing the stretch turn, but was used up from his early effort and had little left for the finish. LOVIN LADY was outpaced. PANADE, well up from the start, moved on the inside after entering the stretch and, getting to the front on the final sixteenth, bore out slightly but lasted to hold MOKATUCK. The latter was outrun to the stretch, then came strongly in the last, sixteenth to find an opening . near the end was gaining rapidly. VIDI moved up to challenge MISS ANDREWS aneighth out and appeared to take a short lead between calls nearing the final sixteenth. BATTLE H also came strongly through the stretch and was close up and going gamely at the end. UDO REINACH weakened in the final drive. MISS ANDREWS ?vas used up making the pace and tired badly.
