White Sox Place Infield Prospect With Farm Club SPRINGFIELD, Mass., June 12 tLP. . Paul Brissette, 21, of Springfield, second, baseman and captain of Holy Cross Colleges baseball team, signed a contract today with the Chicago White Sox; He received a bonus reported unofficially to be tibout ,000. Brisette was assigned to Colorado Springs of the class A Western league and plans to report to that White Sox farm club immediately. He is 1-A In the draft but does not know when he will be called. During his three years on the Holy Cross team, Brissette has proved a consistent hitter as well as a sterling fielder. Two years ago he was a member of the Holy Cross team that won the National Collegiate championship.
