Groom Inks Fourth Pact With Chicago Cardinals Tackle berry Groom of Notre Dame has signed his fourth contract with the Chicago Cardinals, managing director Walter Wolfner announced Saturday. Groom was the Cards? No. 1 draft choice in 1951 and played linebacker that season before shifting to defensive tackle in 1952. Wolfner also announced that Cecil Harp, ! College of Pacific, the teams fifteenth draft choice this year, and guard Ed Hus-mann of Nebraska, have gone into military service and will not play this fall.
