- . . Beanir in Mondays Detroit Feature Meeting Speedy Feminine Sextet Trainer George C. White to Send Out Nocallula and Vie Against Neumann Sophomore DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 12. Mrs. Otto C. Neumanns homebred three - year - old filly, Beanir, a daughter of Nirgal and Bea Right, by Bimelech, will clash with-several older rivals here Monday afternoon in the six-furlong Lincoln Study Club Purse. Six fillies and mares are slated to oppose Beanir in the sprint feature which shapes up as one of the better short distance attractions of the current Michigan season. Although Beanir was trounced last out in the Livonia Stakes, decided on a heavy track and the footing was not at all to the Neumann fillys liking. Previous to her Livonia engagements, Beanir was good enough to defeat the stakes-winning Cim-inerona, Young Fellow, My Fault, Little Colonel, and Rosemary B., in an overnight dash on May 25, which marked her first appearance under silks as a three-year-old. During her juvenile campaign, Beanir picked up earnings of over 1,000, largely through her success in the Tomboy Stakes and her seconds in a division of the Hia-leah Juvenile and Arlington Parks Polly-anna Stakes. Under the allowance terms of the Lincoln Study Club Purse Beanir will carry 109 pounds and she may have the saddle .services of Manuel N. Gonzalez. Hard-Hitting Coupling George C. White, prominent Tennessee and Kentucky turfman, who annually races his charges "in the Wolverine State, will send out an entry in the Monday headliner. Arthur Roses Michigan-owned Vie, 110, and Mrs. Whites Nocallula, 113 pounds, will go to the post coupled and they form a hard-hitting duo. Vie will be handled in the Monday sprint by John Rotz, and Robert Lee Baird, leading reinsman at the present Detroit Race Course meeting, is engaged for Nocallula, good winner of the Ionia Lions Purse here June 3. Nocallula, a five-year-old Apache-sired mare, defeated Fiddle, Barshoe, Pampas Beauty, Sharbot, Light Moon and Mad Hare in her most recent outing. Others expected to start in the Lincoln Study Club Purse are Russell B. Walters Fly Lelia, 110; Mrs. William E. Schmidts three - year - old filly, Make A Note, 103; Tamarack Stables hard-hitting Sharbot, 110, andMcDermott and Wellmans improved Task Fleet, 113 pounds. Sharbot, a four-year-old Pavot-sired filly, was a good class winner here May 26 in a six-furlong overnight dash. Best supporting number on the Monday card is the three-quarters mile fifth, which will match eight useful three - year - olds. W. M. Wiggins Runacross, G and G Stables Diamond Mine, and White Stables Able Ladd are expected to come in for the major share of support over Larry Rodriguez Young Fellow, Grace Kosibas New Man, MacGregor and Arnolds Touch of Or, Triple R Stables Dark Theatre, and Mrs. Daisy Sukundos Sorb. Post time Monday for the initial offering is set at 3:45 p. m.
