HARPETH MISS began fast, raced with WICKED GIRL to the stretch, then weakened. CALICO CREEK was outrun. NOWADAY GIRL was never dangerous. PURIFY began poorly, losing all chance. MR. THE GLOBE, outrun to the last three-eighths mile, went extremely wide at the stretch turn, then closed strongly but was unable to reach the- winner. WRANGLER saved ground while in hand to the stretch, reached the lead between calls during the drive, then faltered when challenged by the winner. BENJOMIKE made a good bid in the early stretch but failed to stay. SIR COBO took command after five-eighths mile , and settled for the drive with a short lead, then weakened. COL. MOE LEE set the pace to the upper turn, then gave way when challenged by SIR COBO. LUCKY NED tired after racing well to the stretch. BIMOVER had a rough trip. DOUBLE 0. had early speed.
