NORQUAY, badly outrun early, circled his field when rallying on the stretch turn, wore down DYMOND LYNN under mild urging in midstretch and quickly drew clear. The latter had speed, saved ground and gave way readily. BLUE QUAIL raced slightly wide in an even effort. MR. CUMBERLAND found his best stride too late. BEACH BULL, restrained off the pace for the first half mile, wore down the leaders from the outside when ready on entering the stretch and, while lugging in, gradually drew out. CRANBERRY JOE had speed from the start, raced between horses much of the way and finished with good courage. FIGHTING LOW was well placed but lacked a closing rally. LOW SKY made up some ground while racing along the inside, but could not seriously threaten. CORNISH GAME was outrun. TIGER MEL showed good early speed. Scratched— 47248 Watch It Now, 115. SADDLE STAR was never a serious factor. BETTER SWEEP raced wide. MAE NOT TEASE raced wide on the turn. ROSE CAPITAL was through early. SECONDS AWAY bolted to the outside on leaving the backstretch. EQUILLA was never far back, moved from between horses on entering the stretch but was not quite good enough. BRAVE BIM made the pace to the final furlong where he gave way suddenly. ANDREA L. saved ground to no avail. POLILME raced wide much of the way. YANG-KE was outrun. LOFTY LEGlON, unhurried while being outrun early, swung rather wide when making his bid on entering the stretch and wore down the leaders in the final sixteenth. LEGATE, also slow to settle in stride, circled his field on the final turn and finished full of run. LUNAR PARK attained a striking position early, came to the outside of MIS-GUIDE on entering the stretch to make a bold bid a furlong away, but was not quite good enough.
