Montpeliers Saratoga went seven furlongs in 1:265, and then galloped out the mile in 1:40%. Roslyn Farms Go Lightly breezed six furlongs in 1:14. Duntreath Farms Fleet Path breezed three furlongs in ;36. Two nominees for Saturdays Delaware Valley Stakes also were caught in morning, warmups. Craigwood Stables Craigwood whirled five furlongs in 1:01, and C. L. Creswells Mister C. L. moved three furlongs in :36. Walter J. Appels Another World, prepping for the Colonial Handicap, sped four furlongs in mA9%. Mrs. Edward Laskers Loquacious, named for the Betsy Ross Stakes, breezed three furlongs in :35-£, for one of the better moves of the day. Mrs. Lasker is known professionally as actress Jane Greer.
