FENEMOR was outrun for a half mile, then improved her position and, although going wide in the stretch, wore down FRANKS MAUDE to win going away. The latter had the most early speed and held on well. CALORIMETER made a strong run nearing the stretch turn, but seemed to falter in the final drive. BUSY GAL saved ground, but was used up chasing FRANKS MAUDE and tired in the stretch. MOON LOVE also tired. KAREN ARTHENE bore out badly on the -turns. SWEENIE soon went to the front and, although headed by DREAM PATTERN at the halfway mark, caught the latter again and drew out in the stretch. STRATONAUT bore out badly around the second turn, but improved his position in the last quarter. WEED SEED was a good contender all the way. ETHERIDGE made up much ground. DREAM. PATTERN tired after taking command on the backstretch. LITTLE CHATTER, prominent for a half mile, tired and bore out badly on the stretch turn. PUSSY CAT was off badly and was outrun to the last quarter, then went wide on the stretch turn, but seemed strongest of all at the end.
