BLEMISH made all the pace under clever rating, savetf ground throughout, was soundly spaken up on entering the stretch and won with something left. ROBERT DEAR, held under light restraint early, came to the outside on the final turn and, while responding to urging, could not menace the winner. BRIARS RED was never a serious contender. BOLD RAY made a menacing bid on leaving the backstretch, but faltered when real racing began. DJUNA failed to reach a striking position. OCCUPY-PASS raced slightly wide "and was through early. BLUE COPPER faltered badly after going three-quarters. Occupy-Pass claimed by H. A. Catalan*. ~ Attendance, 12,058; Total Mutuel Pool, 75,092.
