J. D. Porters Parents of Son FORT MIAMI, Maumee, Ohio, May 4. — Apprentice J. D. Porter canceled his mounts here today and may return to his saddle duties Thursday. Porter took the day off to celebrate the birth of a son. His wife, Yolanda, gave birth to a six-pound, nine-ounce baby boy at St. Vincents Hospital in Toledo. Both mother and baby are progressing quite nicely. Incidentally, Porter has no first or second name. The initials J. D. is his name actually. However he is planning to name the new arrival in the family Jack Douglas.
