High Gun Timed Breezing Six-Furlong Move in 1 :1 4% BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y.. May 4. — Last years three-year-old champion and a potential juvenils champion who suffered a series of mishaps that frustrated his 1954 campaign attracted the most attention during the training hours here this morning. King Ranchs High Gun, who appears to be ready for almost anything, was under a strong hold as he breezed six furlongs in 1:14%. James Cox Bradys Commonwealth, who showed brilliant speed in his debut, which he was unable to confirm for a variety of reasons, sizzled five furlongs in :59%. He, too, seems ready for his seasonal bow. T. P. Morgans much-improved Ezio indicated that he is ready to win a good allowance race or overnight handicap when he skipped a handy seven furlongs in 1:27%. Foxcatcher Farms three - year - old filly champion of last year, Parlo, went the same distance in 1:31%, but was hardly out of a gallop. Dick Handlen seems to be bringing this miss up to the races in fine fettle.
