PLAY TOP moved up fast after the start, was forced wide after entering the stretch, recovered under good handling to dispose of LENA MAC K. and won under brisk urging. WINGED DEVlL saved ground from the outset, closed willingly under punishment but was unable to seriously threaten the top one. TASA began fast, set the pace until inside the stretch, then drifted out while tiring. LENA MAC K., a sharp factor from the start, settled in the stretch with a clear lead but failed to stay. MISS AGOO was outrun and had no mishap. SAVATE raced greenly. SYRIAN GIRL had brief speed. RAMBLING STAR bore out after leaving the upper turn and lost all chance. HAREM GIRL showed little. PLANT MANAGER began slowly. COULD EGRET was never a serious contender. A LONG STORY raced far back throughout. LADY ELECT gradually worked way forward under good handling, responded to punishment during the stretch run and, disposing of the leaders, won going away. DRONGO raced well from the outset, settled in the stretch with a clear advantage but was unable to withstand the top one. CLARON raced evenly for a half mile but could not reach the leaders when set down in the drive. LOCAL BLONDE failed to rally when set down through the stretch. CHARON tired after racing forwardly placed to the final furlong. EVEN GAL lacked early foot MIGHTY TED showed nothing. TOBIKI had brief speed. SO QUICK tired after racing well to the stretch. ZINGGY raced wide. AROMA began . poorly losing all chance. OKEECHOBEE RAN OFF DURING THE POST PARADE, WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN* AND ALL STRAIGHT, PLACE AND SHOW WAGERS ON HIM WERE REFUNDED. AN I VRAM, never far back, swerved repeatedly during the stretch run but wore down GO FOX GO in the last sixteenth, then was disqualified for fouling and placed last. GO FOX GO began fast, settled for the drive with a good lead, was bothered during the last sixteenth by ANIVRAM and could not hold the latter. MENOWN, well placed early, was forced on MIGHTY WISE when ANIVRAM bore to the inside near the three-sixteenths mile pole, the closed determinedly when clear. MGHTY WISE was racing prominnently when caught in the jam caused by ANIVRAM and failed to rally when clear. SUN LASS tired while racing in tight quarters through the stretch. PATTYCAKE KID was outrun and drifted out during the drive. AMANDMINE lacked early foot. SAY BABY was through early. FAIRY SPRITE was never prominent. BUXOM raced greenly. INDAC began sluggishly. BELLEMONDE showed little.
