To Hold Public Hearing On MTTC Proposal July 18 DETROIT, Mich., June 18. James H. Inglis, Michigan State racing commission-erjposted the following notice of hearing relative to the application of the Michigan Thoroughbred Turf Club, which organization proposes to construct a new race track in the Motor City area. "Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Monday, July 18, 1955. at 10: 00 a.m., in the .offices of- this. commission at 1702 Cadillac Square building, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, with respect to the amended application of the Michigan Thoroughbred Turf Club for a license to construct a horse racing track, with pari-mutuel wagering, on a 200-acre parcel .of land, at the Jiortheast .corner- Df 14 Mile Road and John R. Road in Troy Township, Oakland County, Michigan.
