A. Nerud; bred by H. Wells. IN GATE-5:55. OFF AT 5:551 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good. Won easily; second and third driving. FLICKER LIGHT, unhurried in the early stages, moved from the outside on the second turn to wrest command witlr a rush on entering the stretch and drew out with ease. BOUQUET BILLY, held in reserve early, rallied from between horses in the late stages and, while lugging in through the stretch run, interfered with COL KIMBLE for which he was disqualified and placed third. COL. KIMBLE assumed command when ARIEL CHANCE bled at the half-mile marker, saved ground thereafter and held on fairly well while being carried close through the final furlong. PRINCE TIP moved up menacingly on the outside entering the stretch, but had little left when the real test came. MY SHOEMAKER was used up in vying for the early lead. SUNNY AL was always far back. ARIEL CHANCE bled. Scratched 52131 Robert Dear, 112; 52130 Tilenny, 112; 51847 Calico Creek, 114; 395782 Greek Stadium, 112. Attendance, 9,004; Total Mutuel Pool, 42,441.
