W. Rex Wallace Dies WHEELING, W. Va., June 18. W. Rex Wallace, 37, prominent Wheeling Downs trainer, passed away last evening. Wallace who for .the past 12 years owned and trained a public stable throughout the Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland circuit, became" ill during the recently concluded Wheeling meeting. He also was prominent in affairs of the Horsemens Benevolent and -Protective Association affairs. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 oclock from the Kepner Funeral Home in Wheeling,
