: ; Hyde Park, Stars and Stripes Nominations Close Monday WASHINGTON PARK, Homewood, 111., June 18. Horsemen were reminded today by racing secretary Frederick G. "Pat" Farrell that nominations close Monday, June 20, for the Hyde Park Stakes and the Stars and Stripes Handicap, highlights of Arlingtons 1 July Fourth doubleheader. The Hyde Park, endowed with 0,000 in added money, is a five and one-half furlongs dash for two-year-olds. The 5,000 added Stars and Stripes is a traditional grass feature at one mile and one-eighth for three-year-olds and upward.
