Pipe of Peace and Black Coffee Prep for Governors Handicap NARR AG ANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R, I., June 24. Pipe of Peace, the five-year-old Amphitheatre gelding named for the 5,000 added Governors Handicap on closing day, went a .sparkling half mile this morning in :48 handily. Max Kahlbaum sent liis Black Coffee, another nominee for the Governors, a half mile in :51 in anticipation of the final stakes event at the current meeting. Greenbrier Stables Our Pleasure, regarded as a strong contender for the Nursery, was galloped this morning in perpara-tion for the important test.
