RUGGED ODDS, unhurried in the early stages, came wide while advancing on the final turn and, while lugging in, was up in the closing strides. MARACABO was never a great distance back, came to the outside to wear down the leaders on entering the stretch, swerved to the inside sharply approaching"the furlong marker and when straightened away she held on stubbornly. STRIDE AWAY had speed, saved some ground and held on fairly well after bein? bumped a furlong out. PRINCE VILLON, prominent from the start, moved to the leaders while under pressure in the early stretch and also held on well after being soundly bumped a furlong away. ROYAL COYNESS found her best stride too late. MY SHOEMAKER was never a serious factor. , Scratched 525424 Prince Tip, 112; 50645 Jantember, 107; 50645 Answer Man, 112; 52268 Saracen Devil, 105; 529063 Boss H 117.
