Gansett Lucky for Atkinson NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., June 24. The running of the Providence Stakes is still a topic of conversation among horsemen and patrons of Gansett. It is agreed all arourid that the course holds a lucky charm for Ted Atkinson, rider of Misty Morn, the winner. In 1951, Atkinson benefited by the bolting of Greek Ship to boot home Hall of Fame in the Narragansett Special and last Wednesdays antics of Saratoga found lady luck again riding with "The Slasher."
