SEA 0 ERIN went to the front at once and, opening up a good lead -in the first quarter, increased it at the half-way mark but was roused nearing the end when BESOMER loomed as a threat. BESOMER responded gamely to urging in the stretch and took a good run at the winner. GOOD GESTURE was never a threat, but outfinished MUNCHAUSEN although pulling up lame. MUNCHAUSEN was closest to SEA 0 ERIN to the stretch and then dropped back gradually . Scratched— 19015 Warbler, 110; 190153 Fabius, 126; 19015 Dogoon, 1.19; 09126 I Appeal, 112. SAM SLICK was within striking distance of the leaders in the early running and, coming very fast around the stretch turn, had no trouble, heading YIELD and winning easily. KOPES HOPE was fairly well up from the start and finished with good courage. YIELD went to the front nearing the far turn to open up a good lead but was not strong enough. BOZI was far out of it for six furlongs and then made up some ground. COLLEONI had speed and seemed to be in close quarters when headed by YIELD. GALLANT RUNNER tired. 190162 Sagacity, 120.
