Since regular admission to the clubhouse will remain in effect on Monday, clubhouse patrons can secure their tickets for the free drawing outside the clubhouse grounds without obligation. W-. P. Walters Sky Capers, a five-year-old Jet Flight mare, will be trying for her fourth consecutive victory at the meeting. On a heavy race track, she turned back the Ben-Jo Stables Brother Max the last time for her thirjl straight visit to the charmed circle. The event was originally scheduled to be run on the turf,- but when inclement weather made the turf course soggy, the distance was shortened a furlong to six panels and was contested on the main track which was classified as heavy. The time for her victory was 1:13%, and once again she was the favorite in the betting under the very able guidance of jockey F. Kaelin. The latter reinsman has the task to repeat his performances aboard this highly consistent campaigner and it is very likely that the bulk of support will be in this duos favor. Rollicker, which runs in the interest of K. M. and W. P. Little, is also drawn into this affair and finished fourth to Sky Capers the last time. Jockey W. D. Lucas is this Flushing II. fillys usual pilot and in a previous outing he had an easy three and one-quarter lengths in front of C. E. Gibsons Concentrator. This latest effort was over the one mile turf course and, while, the strip was "firm," the time was a rather unimpressive 1:41 flat. C. Bertazons Benzel was a beaten favorite on June 7 when he finished a nose behind Froome Barbours Good and Bad. The Hi Acres Stock Farms Sonsfault, which finished third in the same affair, was another three parts of a length back for his debut at this meeting. The Triple R. Stables Pasta Fazuli, Ellis Farms .Redhot Trouble and P. L. Rices Ella Villa make up the field. Pasta Fazuli, of the .trio, appears the more likely to prove bothersome. This highly successful campaigner turned in a rather strong second to Mitchell and Niles Jr.s speedy Vee Vee Kay in a mile and 70 yards affair the last time out. That may serve as the tightener for a better effort among such asr these.
