Michigan Notes HAZEL PARK, Mich., June 22. Hazel Parks third condition book, embracing the 15-day period of Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 17, is now in the hands of the printer and will be ready for distribution among horsemen later in the week. Feature attractions of the third book are the ,000 Quickstep on July 3, the 0,000 Firecracker Handicap and ,000 Bassinet on July 4, the |5,000 Early Foot Handicap on July 5, the ,000 Belle Isle Handicap and ,000 Woodland Purse on July 6, the ,000 Sprouts Purse on July 10, the ,000 Lake St. Clair Handicap on July 13, the ,000 Cadets Handicap on July 15 and the ,000 Carnegie Handicap on July 17. The events give ample opportunity to horses of all ages, capable of traveling both sprint and route distances. Jockey agent Tommy Caffarelli is taking a 10 -day rest. Both of his riders, Robert Dever and apprentice Mike -Mulkerrin are now serving suspensions, handed out by the stewards, leaving Tommy without clients at the moment. Trainer George Ellis reports that Rock Pilot is taking a well deserved vacation at Hazel Park, and will not be seen in action for some time. His main objective of the summer will be the 0,000 Michigan Mile at the Detroit race track. The five-year-old won his only three starts at Hazel Park, toting 124 pounds to victory in his latest effort.
