Illinois House Kills Bill Requiring List ofStockholders SPRINGFIELD, LU., June 22.— The Illinois House late Friday killed a bill which would require that all stockholders in racing associations be listed and identified when the tracks apply for licenses to conduct their meetings. In other action, the House approved a measure legalizing pari-mutuel wagering on jai alai. The vote was 93 to 40, with 89 needed for passage. The jai alai bill was sent to the Senate for consideration before adjournment on June 29. The jai alai bill set the season from November 15 to April 1, with each fronton having a season of at least 100 days. An amendment added yesterday stipulated that licenses could be obtained only by American citizens who have 10 consecutive years of experience in operating and managing jai alai frontons.
