Vanity Handicap Attracts Twenty-Three Nominations HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood, Calif., June 22. — Mrs. Connie Rings .homebred Market Basket, whose two recent stakes victories already have earned her top honors among the three-year-old fillies here, will seek further laurels against older members of her sex in the 5,000 added Vanity Handicap to be run here next Saturday. She is one of 23 fillies and mares named for the run of a mile and a furlong which is one of two big features on next weeks schedule. The other, for which nominations already have been announced, is the 0,000 added Westchester Stakes which will bring together two-year-old colts and geldings over five and a half furlongs on Thursday.
