Special Awards at Cahokia CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, 111., June 22.--The mink stole given away here last Thursday night, which was won by Mrs. Virginia Clark of East St. Louis, proved so popular, general manager George Edward Day announced "t o d a y that eight more of these wraps will be awarded during the remainder of the meeting hi addition to the automobile to be given away July 18. Only ladies are eligible to win these stoles, to be awarded on Monday and Thursday nightsfor the remainder of the meeting. Each time a lady enters the course she is given a ticket which entitles her to a free chance *on the shoulder piece. The only restrictions covering the awarads are that the recipient is in no way connected directly or indirectly -with Cahokia Downs, and she must be present in order to win.
