Matthew Satosk, Handicapper For Associated Press, Dies NEW YORK, May 1.— Matthew "Matty" Satosk, veteran racing handicapper for the Associated Press, died here Wednesday in the Misericordia Hospital. "The cause of death was attributed to a coronary thrombosis suffered Monday while celebrating his 51st birthday. A native of New York, Mr. Satosk resided in Briarwood, Long Island. He worked as a Postal Telegraph teletype operator before joining AP in September, 1928. He later became traffic department supervisor and then handicapper and selector. Mr.. Satosk is survived by his wife, Polly, and five married daughters. While funeral arrangements have not been completed, the body will be in the Thomas M. Quinn and Sons Funeral Home, 36-10 Broadway, Long Island City, N. Y.
