GOLD KEY went to the front early to shake off EASY TRAFFIC after going about six furlongs, and opening up a good lead, saved ground entering the stretch, but bore out at midstretch ana appeared to interfere with TERI. He then drew out from the latter to win under urging. TERI trailed the field for six furlongs but was under restraint, then came very fast on the outside when called upon to challenge GOLD KEY on the outside at midstretch, but faltered when the latter seemed to bear out in front of her. BRASEDA held third place throughout in an even effort. EASY TRAFFIC was close to GOLD KEY early but tired in the late stages. The others were always outrun. NOBLE IMP took a good lead over BROTHER G. soon after the start but was hard pressed when the latter moved up about on equal terms with him at the end of the first six furlongs. He continued well while saving ground and, disposing of his rival iri the last thirty yards, drew out slightly. BROTHER G., always closest to the leader, made a strong bid after entering the stretch, but was not quite good enough. ANGEL BREATH made up some ground in the final furlong to finish strongly. HELLO RITA was rated and saved some ground on the stretch turn to take command and hold on well. PAYCAR was badly outrun early and finished fast. IM EXPECTIN was well up and weakened slightly near the end.
