GATOR STAR was rated close to the fcace to the stretch, then moved forward to wear down RONNIES JET and win going away. The latter took over from ANDYS DUSK after going a half-mile and was easily best of the rest. SUN FORGET saved ground in the stretch to finish with good courage. FRANK K. raced evenly. HY DOMINGO and NEAR CHANCE were forced very wide when BEL BOUND bore out badly on the first turn. PROUD MARCH was also forced wide on the first turn. BEL BOUND went very wide on the first turn and bolted to the outside fence on the backstretch. HANSUM moved up* strongly nearing the stretch turn to save ground "on the turn and, shaking off JUSTA TRUCKIN, was not seriously threatened by NEW STAR. The latter was outrun to the stretch and then came strongly. JUSTA TRUCKIN made a bid for the leadership after entering the stretch but faltered in the final drive. SUPREME BUSTER hugged the rail in the stretch. BIMMIE B. tired. GOLD BOND was in contention when she raced to the outside fence nearing the stretch tum. QUE GIRL bore out badly on the stretch turn. COURTIM began slowly, trailing early and was eased in the stretch. JAX SIR dropped back after going a half-mile, then came again in the stretch and, despite being bothered somewhat when MONTPARNASSE bore out on him at midstretch, headed the latter to score under hand urging. MONTPARNASSE was closest to the pace of BONNIE GAIL in the early running and, despite bearing out in the stretch, went well to the finish. HARMONIZE was eased back a couple of times in the early running while racing next to the rail but finished with geed courage. BONNIE GAIL was used up setting the pace and tired. BOUL MICH was outrun to the stretch, then moved strongly in the middle of the-track to get to the front near the end and hold SHREWD TIP. The latter trailed to the stretch, then went very wide but closed fast on the extreme outside and was pressing. BEAU CLERC was closest to OFF N CLEAR while the latter was making the pace and headed him on the stretch turn to race well to the end. JOE KAY soon raced to second place behind INAHMOUD and, following the latter closely down the backstretch, took command rearing the stretch tum and was not in serious danger thereafter, although ridden out to the end. DR. JOSH moved up on the backstretch and continued strongly to the finish. INAHMOUD had something removed making the pace and weakened.
