Champion JapaneseHorse "Will Race at Hollywood Name Hakuchikara for Gold Cup; Unplaced Only Once Last Season INGLEWOOD, Calif., May 1. — Hakuchikara, acclaimed in Japan as the greatest thoroughbred in that countrys racing history, will leave his homeland later this -month for Hollywood Park where he will face some of Americas stakes stars in at least three of Hollyparks top classics. Racing Secretary John Maluvius Thursday received a cable from owner Hircshi Nishi of Tokyo stating his Japanese champion would be shipped to Hollywood Park for the last part of the 55-day meeting which opens May 8. Nishi included the nomination fee for the 62,100 Hollywood Gold Cup on Saturday, July 12, and stated he also planned to nominate Hakuchikara to the 0,000 added American on July 4 and 00,000 added Sunset Handicap on July 22. Hakuchikara, whose foal registration name is Yashima Koltes, has completely outclassed his competition during the last two seasons in Japan. The five-year-old chestnut stallion won 9 of his 15 starts last year, running second 4 times while going unplaced only once. In 1956, he started 11 times, posting six wins and a second. He was defeated only once in six starts as a twb-year-6ld iri 1955. J
