Spring Maiden Steeplechase At Delaware Has 29 Eligibles STANTON, Del., May 1.— The 18th running of . the ,500 added Spring Maiden Steeplechase. Stakes at Delaware Park on June 20 closed for nominations with 29 eligibles. The Spring Maiden, at about two miles, is one of four majo rsteeplechase features to be renewed during the 51-day meeting opening May 29. The Spring Maiden is open to four-year-olds and upward who have not won over brush prior to last March 15. The event is one of two in which owners are entitled to name one horse for both races with one subscription. Belmont Parks version of the Spring Maiden Steeplechase is- scheduled on May 20. The eligibles follow: Arywa, Ballybrlttas, Benguala, Breakfront, Breakers Ahead, Dancing Jay, Darubini, Dauphine, Djerid, Glendower, Good Sign, Greek Brother, Homework, Ideal View, Isle of Shine, Jack-dow, Mr. United, Muguet II., Nassau Derby, Navy Fighter, Nizams Pet, Patrick Begorra, Policeman Day, Robinhurst, Royal Flag, Shannon Gipsy, Square Dance II., Sun Dog and Tombigbee.
